Proposal for a shopping mall and offices in Kiev, Ukraine.

It is good if a client insists that his architect employs the golden ratio when designing a new project. It is interesting to utilise and exciting to pay attention to the overall design, whether the ratio is applied in plan or elevation.

Many of the old ‘monuments’ of architecture, including the Parthenon, the Pyramids at Giza, the Taj Mahal, the Notre Dame and many more have used the ratio.

Let's try to link the golden ratio to our everyday lives;

According to psychologist Adrian Bejan, "that spatial arrangement of human eyes allows us to perceive, and therefore understand, stimuli that has the proportion of the golden ratio."

Ever wondered why the iPad displays are 3:2 ? Or that HDTV displays are 16:9?
